Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport) gained some air from his direct pursuers by being the fastest in the second pass of Myherin, the 15th special stage of Wales Rally GB. The five-time WRC champion was more than 3 seconds ahead of Toyota drivers Esapekka Lappi and Jari-Matti Latvala, while event leader Ott Tänak (Toyota) finished 6 seconds behind, tied with Thierry Neuville (Hyundai). Craig Breen (Citroën) was closest to the benchmark with 2 seconds behind despite his soft tires being at a disadvantage against the mediums on the dry roads encountered this afternoon.

Ott Tänak maintains a lead of 42 seconds over Sébastien Ogier. Jari-Matti Latvala remains in 3rd place with 5”5 behind the Frenchman but his teammate Esapekka Lappi has come back to 2 seconds.
