The second pass of the final stage of the Monte-Carlo Rally will be contested from 10:55 a.m. La Cabanette – Col de Braus will be used as a Power Stage.

Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport) was once again ahead of his direct rival Ott Tänak (Toyota) by a second in the 15th SS of the Monte-Carlo Rally. The Frenchman narrowly avoided going off the road after being hampered by a smoke bomb at the side of the track.

Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) signed the scratch by completing the 13,58km in 10'34''1, three seconds ahead of his teammate Andreas Mikkelsen. The Belgian takes almost seven seconds from Elfyn Evans (M-Sport).

Sébastien Ogier now has more than 46 seconds ahead of Ott Tänak at the end of the first pass of the last stage. Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) still completes the provisional podium ahead of his teammate Esapekka Lappi who sees Kris Meeke (Citroën) come back 13 seconds from fourth position. Behind, Elfyn Evans has less than nine seconds ahead of Thierry Neuville.

Ogier almost made a mistake. A smoke bomb reduced its visibility. The Frenchman narrowly avoided leaving the road. The Monte-Carlo leader nevertheless takes more than a second from Tänak, who is now more than 46s behind.

Tänak seems to have given up. The Toyota driver is the slowest with 12″9 behind Neuville’s provisional scratch.

Lappi is the closest to Neuville. The Toyota driver in 4th place is 5″3 off the provisional scratch.

Meeke is now the closest to Neuville, finishing 4″7 off the provisional scratch. The Citroën driver protects his 5th place well.

Evans dropped almost 7s to Neuville. The M-Sport driver now only has an 8″7 lead over the Belgian with two stages to go.

Neuville takes the provisional scratch with a time of 10'34″1. This is 5″3 better than Breen for the Belgian in the fight for 6th place against Evans.

Bouffier finished 7s late. The M-Sport driver is isolated in 8th position.

Breen finished with a first time of 10'39″4. The Citroën driver occupies 9th position.

Breen is already at the start of the SS15 La Cabanette – Col de Braus 1 (13,58 km) which will serve as a Power Stage in the second passage.
