Kris Meeke (Citroën) is the closest with 2 seconds behind, followed by a tenth by Dani Sordo (Hyundai). Sébastien Loeb (Citroën) also finished less than three seconds behind the benchmark.
Sébastien Ogier now has 37” over Kris Meeke ahead of the three super specials which will conclude the second stage of Rally Mexico. Dani Sordo is 1”7 behind the Northern Irishman. Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) still occupies fourth position with 4 seconds ahead of Sébastien Loeb. Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) remains sixth after having suffered another scare on the course by going off course following contact with an embankment.
