The Championship leader was still 1''3 ahead of Dani Sordo (Hyundai) at the end of the 19,3km Pratdip, the penultimate special of the Rally of Catalonia where Jari-Matti Latvala (Volkswagen) set the scratch in 10'53 ''1 with 1''4 ahead of the Frenchman. Hayden Paddon (Hyundai) was only able to gain six tenths from his teammate Thierry Neuville.

Sébastien Ogier will enter the RACC Power Stage 14 seconds ahead of Dani Sordo. The three-time world champion only needs one point to secure the coronation. Thierry Neuville maintains third place with just under 13 seconds ahead of Hayden Paddon.
