Lappi stands out by setting the 5th provisional time of SS18, half a second ahead of Ogier!
The Power Stage will be contested from 12:08 p.m. Camilli took the scratch in the first pass with a time of 4'57"2, 2 tenths ahead of Neuville and 4 tenths ahead of Latvala. But the hierarchy of the course will likely evolve, with several drivers such as Ogier reserving themselves for the bonus stage.
Suninen maintains a lead of more than a minute over Kopecky in WRC 2. Kruuda still completes the provisional podium.

Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) gets closer to victory at the Sardinia Rally. The Belgian signed a new scratch in the 14,06 km of Cala Flumini covered in 8’53”0. The leader of the event beat his direct rival Jari-Matti Latvala (Volkswagen) by 6”3.
Andreas Mikkelsen (Volkswagen) was the closest, 4 seconds behind. Éric Camilli (Ford) followed at 6”10, ahead of his compatriot Sébastien Ogier (Volkswagen) by nine tenths.
Thierry Neuville has a 25”7 lead over Jari-Matti Latvala before taking part in the Power Stage. Sébastien Ogier completes the provisional podium ahead of Dani Sordo (Hyundai) and Ott Tänak (Ford) who is still 28 seconds ahead of Éric Camilli (Ford).
Neuville offers himself yet another scratch while his lead is already comfortable. The Hyundai driver set a time of 8’53″0, ahead of Latvala by 6″3.
Latvala is closest to Mikkelsen with 1″7 behind. “I have no chance of getting Neuville back on a regular basis. I just manage while still keeping a good pace. »
Ogier took 3rd provisional time, 6″7 behind his teammate Mikkelsen. “I saved the tires for the Power Stage. »
Sordo sets the 3rd provisional time, 9″5 behind the provisional benchmark set by Mikkelsen. The Hyundai driver does not have to attack as he is well established in 4th place.
Tänak sets the 3rd time, 5s behind Camilli. The Estonian maintains 5th place with 28″9 ahead of Camilli.
Solberg gives up 11″3 to Camilli and is now 20s behind the Frenchman. 6th place moves a little further away for the Norwegian.
Camilli achieves the 2nd provisional time, 5″8 behind Mikkelsen. The M-Sport driver is still in 6th place.
Prokop ranks 23s behind Mikkelsen and thus signs the 3rd provisional time. “This rally was frustrating as I received a 5min entry penalty. We still took advantage of it. »
Mikkelsen improved the mark by 18 seconds with a time of 18’57″6. “It wasn’t too bad. We're saving ourselves for the Power Stage. »
Abbring improves the mark with a time of 9’15”6, 10s better than Al Rajhi.
Al Rajhi improves Gorban’s time by 14 seconds with a time of 9’25″7.
Gorban sets a time of 9’39”7. This is half a minute more than Neuville’s scratch achieved in the first pass. “It’s getting better and better…”
Gorban set off in the second passage of Cala Flumini. The Ukrainian set the 21st time in the first pass.
The second pass of the final stage of the Sardinia Rally is about to begin. Neuville took the scratch this morning in 9’08”1.
