Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) scored a new scratch on the second pass of Grafschaft, the penultimate special stage of the Rally Germany. The Belgian took back almost 6 seconds from his teammate Dani Sordo. Teemu Suninen (M-Sport) followed more than 7 seconds ahead of Sébastien Ogier (Citroën).
Kris Meeke (Toyota), Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) and Esapekka Lappi (Citroën) finished a dozen seconds behind. The Finn from Citroën took back almost 3 seconds from Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai). Ott Tänak (Toyota) manages his lead by finishing less than 2 seconds behind his Northern Irish teammate.
Ott Tänak has a 25-second lead over Kris Meeke heading into the Power Stage. Jari-Matti Latvala keeps 3rd place with around ten seconds ahead of Dani Sordo who still has 15 seconds ahead of Thierry Neuville. Esapekka Lappi took back 6th position from Andreas Mikkelsen by less than 2 seconds. Sébastien Ogier remains 8th ahead of Gus Greensmith (M-Sport) and Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota).
Éric Camilli (Ford) finished tied with Jan Kopecky (Skoda), finishing around ten seconds behind Kalle Rovanperä (Skoda). The Frenchman remains 37 seconds behind the Czech in the lead of WRC 2 Pro.
Tänak ranks 14s behind Neuville and drops less than 2s to his teammate Meeke to still have a 25s lead over the Northern Irishman before the Power Stage. “We control our lead. »
Meeke is on the same pace as his teammate Latvala, ahead of him by 4 tenths. The Northern Irishman remains 2nd with around fifteen seconds ahead of the Finn.

Camilli set the provisional reference time for WRC 2 Pro by beating Rovanperä by almost 4 seconds in SS17 while Kopecky failed by almost ten seconds. The Frenchman is still more than 36 seconds behind the Czech at the head of the category.
The first crews are waiting at the start of the second 28km Grafschaft passage. Neuville was the fastest there at the start of the morning with a time of 16'16″2. The departure was delayed.
