Thierry Neuville will arrive at the Rally Chile in two weeks with a ten-point lead over Sébastien Ogier. Ott Tänak finds himself 28 points behind the Belgian. Hyundai also consolidates its leadership position in the Manufacturers' Championship by ahead of Toyota by 37 units, the Japanese brand having a 3-point lead over Citroën.

Thierry Neuville wins the Rally Argentina by winning ahead of Andreas Mikkelsen who gives Hyundai a one-two finish. Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) completes the podium one second ahead of Kris Meeke (Toyota) who suffered a puncture in the Power Stage. Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) completes the Top 5 with 5 seconds ahead of Dani Sordo (Hyundai) who finishes ahead of Teemu Suninen (M-Sport). Ott Tänak (Toyota) took 8th position for less than 4 seconds ahead of Mads Ostberg (Citroën), winner of the WRC 2 Pro.

Sébastien Ogier signed the scratch in the Power Stage of El Condor by completing the 16,43km in 13'02''1 with a tenth ahead of Jari-Matti Latvala. Thierry Neuville followed 4”7 ahead of his teammate Dani Sordo. Ott Tänak won the final bonus point.
