After the arrival of the first WRC-2s, Teemu Suninen (Skoda) took the provisional best time in 6'41″8, two tenths ahead of Esapekka Lappi (Skoda) and 1″ ahead of the Ford Fiesta R5 of Elfyn Evans.

Setting off again this morning in Rally2, Marcos Ligato places his DS3 in the wake of Kevin Abbring, 1″3 behind the Dutchman’s Hyundai i20, and 23″4 behind Ogier. The Argentinian seems delighted with the pace displayed on this SS.

Al-Qassimi (DS3) finishes but 40″2 behind Ogier.

Abbring (Hyundai) is still losing time, with its mechanical problems affecting gear shifting. The Dutchman lost 22″1 to Ogier in this special. Valeriy Gorban (Mini) arrives in turn and finishes 29″9 behind Ogier.

Craig Breen hoists his DS3 into provisional fifth position, 3″ behind Ogier and in the immediate wake of his teammate Meeke at 1″. The Irishman remains third overall with an 11″3 margin over Tänak who continues to reduce the gap.

Kris Meeke (DS3) seems to be managing his end of the day by placing fourth in the ES, 2″ behind Ogier and losing only 1″1 on Latvala. The Briton maintains a 41″2 lead over Latvala before SS20.

Second this morning of this SS during the first pass, Sébastien Ogier took the best provisional time by pushing Tänak back two tenths.

Ott Tänak took the best time in 6'28", two tenths ahead of Latvala.

Despite two small errors “coming off the line”, Thierry Neuville remains quite satisfied with his performance this time. The Belgian from Hyundai sets a time of 6'33”.

Mads Ostberg (Ford) took the third time in 6'32″6, 3 tenths behind Paddon and 3″7 behind Latvala.

The Finn was complaining a little about the state of his tires, but there is only a 4,23 km stage left before concluding this third Finnish day.
