Evans finally fails 1″2 behind Tidemand, who should have the best time of this SS20.
Tidemand (Skoda) seems the fastest on this SS20 in WRC-2. The Swede is temporarily ahead of the Skodas of Lappi and Suninen before the arrival of Elfyn Evans (Ford Fiesta R5).
Gorban (Mini) finished in 2’05″4, 6″1 behind Ogier and ahead of Al-Qassimi (DS3) by 2″4.
Abbring lost 5″3 on Ogier and finally concluded his day, disrupted in the last part by problems changing gears on his Hyundai i20.
Craig Breen ends his day with a time of 2’01”. The Irishman is ahead of Tänak by two tenths and sees his lead peak at 11” before the final day over the Estonian, in the fight for the podium.

Ogier is the first to go under 2′ on this SS20. The three-time world champion took the provisional best time in 1’59”3. The Volkswagen driver does not hide that his last objective on this 2016 Rally Finland remains the points for the Power Stage.
Ott Tänak (Ford), still in contention for the podium against Craig Breen, set the second provisional time, 0″ behind Neuville.
Neuville takes the opportunity to regain some air in the general standings against his teammate Paddon, who had returned to a tenth before this SS20. The Belgian now has a 2″7 margin over the New Zealander.

Latvala ends his day ahead of Paddon and Mikkelsen by 1″7. The Volkswagen Finn is firmly established in second position, but does not seem able to catch Meeke. “I tried, but I couldn’t. The car is in any case better than last year. » comments Latvala.
