The drivers will make the second pass of Lempää from 10:47 a.m. Latvala took the scratch in the first pass by completing the 6,8km in 3'08″4.
Camilli takes 5″3 from Huttunen, the WRC 2 leader. The Fiesta R5 driver is back to 13s behind the Finn who is competing in his first rally on a 4-wheel drive.
The provisional classification of SS23:
Teeemu Suninen (Toyota) beat Elfyn Evans (Ford) by half a second and Juho Hänninen (Toyota) by 2”7 in the first pass of Oittila which will serve as Power Stage in the second pass. It was Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) who signed the scratch by completing the 10,12km in 4'52''1 with a 3''2 lead over his compatriot.
Esakeppa Lappi (Toyota) maintains a lead of 42 seconds over Teemu Suninen with two stages to go. Elfyn Evans now completes the provisional podium 2”5 from 2nd place with 2”5 ahead of Juho Hänninen. Craig Breen (Citroën) remains 5th ahead of Thierry Neuville (Hyundai), Ott Tänak (Ford), Kris Meeke (Citroën), Dani Sordo (Hyundai) and Mads Ostberg.
Paddon sets the 5th time, 5”7 behind Latvala’s scratch. “I don’t really need to attack but we try to take advantage of it. »
Latvala takes the scratch with a time of 4'52″1, improving his teammate Suninen's time by 3″2. “I have a great feeling behind the wheel. I really would have liked to win this rally but it doesn't always go the way you want. The WRC has never been better. »
Lappi sets the 6th time by dropping 7″2 to Suninen. The Toyota driver maintains a lead of 42 seconds in the general classification. “The road is a bit slippery. We must be even more careful. “
Suninen improves the provisional scratch with a time of 4'55"3. The M-Sport driver improves Evans' time by half a second and takes 2nd place with a 2″5 lead over Evans and 2″7 over Suninen.
Hänninen finished 2″2 behind Evans who was ahead of the Toyota driver by 2 tenths in the general classification. “I lost a bit of time by going wide twice. »
Evans improves the benchmark with a time of 4'55"8, 4s better than Tänak. The Dmack driver is fighting for 2nd place. “I started a little wide in two corners because the grip changes a lot on this course. »
Breen sets the 3rd provisional time, 6″5 behind Tänak. The Citroën driver lost time with a spin. The Irishman occupies 5th place, despite everything gaining 3″5 from Neuville who is 19s behind 5th place. “I couldn’t stop the car. This rally is really long and difficult. »
Neuville drops almost 10s to Tänak who is 25s behind the Hyundai driver in the general classification. “I made 3 mistakes in one special stage. I have no grip. »
Tänak takes the provisional scratch with a time of 4'59″8, 2″5 better than Ostberg. “I missed a bit in a corner, but I'm optimistic for the Power Stage. » The M-Sport driver is in 7th place.
Meeke achieves the 3rd provisional time, one tenth behind Sordo. The Citroën driver remains isolated in 8th place. “We were struggling all weekend. »
Sordo finished 7″2 behind Ostberg’s time. The Hyundai driver remains in 9th place.
Ostberg achieved a time of 5'02″3, 25 seconds better than Al Qassimi. “I don't know if there's anything wrong with my car, but it's incredibly slippery. » The Norwegian is in 10th place.
Al Qassimi sets the first time in 5'25"8. The Citroën driver is in 17th position.
