Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) failed by almost 9 seconds while still suffering from significant understeer. The Frenchman is ahead of Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai), Esapekka Lappi (Citroën) and Gus Greensmith (M-Sport). Takamoto Katusta (Toyota) finished 52 seconds behind.
Ott Tänak regains the lead of Rally Germany with a 1”7 lead over Thierry Neuville. Sébastien Ogier remains 3rd but only has a one second lead over Kris Meeke. Dani Sordo moved up to 5th place almost a second ahead of Jari-Matti Latvala. Andreas Mikkelsen returns to a tie with Esapekka Lappi. Gus Greensmith is isolated in 9th place ahead of Kalle Rovanperä (Skoda), the leader of WRC 2 Pro.
Katsuta is almost 52s behind Tänak’s scratch. “I have to remain cautious knowing that we will have a second pass. »

Ogier is now more than 4 seconds behind Tänak in the 2nd intermediate. Neuville is one second behind the Estonian in the first sector.
Ogier is 3″6 behind Tänak at the first intermediate. The Toyota driver seems to be in full attack.
