Monte-Carlo Rally 2020
The fifth Monte-Carlo special will take place from 11:21 a.m., between Avançon and Notre-Dame-du-Laus over 20,59 km.

In WRC 2, everything is going well for Ole Christian Veiby (Hyundai), who is content to manage the challenge of Mads Ostberg (Citroën):
Place in the WRC 3 category. Nicolas Ciamin and Yannick Roche (Citroën) took the scratch by 4″ against Stéphane Sarrazin and Kévin Parent (Hyundai). Éric Camilli concedes 14″1 and complained of crooked steering. The latter, however, remains at the head of the class by 10″6 over Stéphane Sarrazin.
As a reminder, Hyundai Motorsport has confirmed that the crew emerged unscathed from this crash, although probably shaken by the high-speed rollovers.

Here is the classification of the special in WRC:
Katsuta again concedes half a minute on a special stage. The Japanese hope does not progress in the ranking.
Rovanperä: “The conditions were better here. I went faster but I'm only learning this morning, it's not easy with my level of experience. »
Rookie Kalle Rovanperä lost 12″ all round to Elfyn Evans. He remains 6th in the general classification.
Loeb: “I had a good stage, but I don't know if the tires were suitable. The special was very fast. »
The joint record holders for victories at Monte-Carlo, Sébastien Loeb and Daniel Elena, finished 9″2 behind Elfyn Evans.
Lappi: “I’m too slow. I can not do better. »
Esapekka Lappi finished with a 12″ disbursement over Elfyn Evans.
Evans: “The feeling is pretty good, it’s not perfect. »
Elfyn Evans continues to impress. The Welshman rode 3″4 faster than Sébastien Ogier and 8″8 faster than Thierry Neuville. He takes the lead in the rally!
Ogier: “I can feel the car better. I'm glad to know that Ott is doing pretty well, there was a big squeeze where he came out. »
Sébastien Ogier finished 2″1 ahead of Thierry Neuville.
