Rally Mexico 2023
The fourth special stage of the 2023 Rally Mexico surprised several drivers, including Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota) and Thierry Neuville (Hyundai). The Finn and the Belgian, who are sweeping the road on this stage, passed at high speed over a bump, although it was absent during the reconnaissance according to the two drivers!

Takamoto Katsuta finished with the 5th provisional time, 5″7 behind Ogier. “I had smoke in the cabin, it wasn’t dust! But it's gone since then. »
Esapekka Lappi is beaten by Ogier by only 4 tenths! Lappi keeps the lead of the event by 8 tenths. “I’m comfortable in the car. At the end of the special, I was much better! »
Sébastien Ogier does better than Elfyn Evans by 7 tenths.
Elfyn Evans finished with the best provisional time, 3″9 better than his teammate at Toyota Rovanperä. “It's not easy to assess the level of grip on these stages. »
Ott Tänak finally passed the timing cell with an additional 2'35" on Rovanperä. Suffice to say that any hope of victory or podium has gone for the Estonian.

Kalle Rovanperä finished the special: “I made some set-up changes, but the grip is still not satisfactory. I hit the car on an undulation pretty hard. »
