The next stage of the Rally Argentina will begin at 19:51 p.m. French time, with the second pass through La Bajadas – Villa del Dique.

Dani Sordo (Hyundai) sets the best time in the fifth SS of the 2018 Rally Argentina, contested in parallel clashes between the drivers. The Spaniard is 1″1 ahead of Elfyn Evans’ Ford Fiesta and 1″8 ahead of Kris Meeke’s Citroën C3.

Fourth in the sector at 2″8, Ott Tänak (Toyota) nevertheless performed well in the ES by taking back control of the general classification from Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) by eight tenths. Kris Meeke, Sébastien Ogier (Ford) follow in the standings at 3″1 and 4″5. Dani Sordo completes the provisional top 5 having overtaken his teammate Thierry Neuville. 1″8 separate the two Hyundai drivers.  

Second time for Elfyn Evans in the Ford Fiesta – M-Sport Ford, 1″1 behind Sordo. Teemu Suninen (M-Sport Ford) took sixth place. The two drivers remain 9th and 10th overall.

Dani Sordo (Hyundai) improves Kris Meeke's benchmark in 4'42″0 and logically wins his duel against Craig Breen (Citroën).

It's Kris Meeke's turn (Citroën) to take the provisional best time on SS5. 4'43″8 for the Briton, one second better than Tänak. Esapekka Lappi (Toyota) sets the 4th fastest time, 1″6 behind Meeke.

It's the turn of Ott Tänak (Toyota) and Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) to take the start.

4'45″0 for Sébastien Ogier as Neuville failed 2″ behind the world champion.

The Frenchman faces in this clash alongside the Belgian Thierry Neuville (Hyundai).
