The crews are preparing to compete in the 1,6km Slate Mountain super special. The start should be given at 16:57 p.m.
Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) rolled over on the second pass of Penmachno, SS7 of Wales Rally GB, while in 5th place. The crew is doing well, but the special was still interrupted.
Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) signed the provisional scratch by completing the 16,19km in 9'44''3 with around 4 seconds ahead of Teemu Suninen (M-Sport), Ott Tänak (Toyota) and Kris Meeke (Toyota) . The Hyundais of Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) and Thierry Neuville finished around 5 seconds behind.
Kris Meeke now only has a 2”5 lead over Sébastien Ogier. Thierry Neuville slipped to 3rd place, almost 4 seconds behind the Frenchman. Ott Tänak is just over a second behind the provisional podium.
The marshals stopped the special following the accident in Latvala. As a reminder, the crew is doing well.
Suninen is closest to Ogier with 3″8 behind. The M-Sport driver takes a small second from Mikkelsen and is less than 9 seconds behind the Norwegian. “Commissioners told me to slow down. I'm not very happy with the special. »
Latvala got out of the car. The crew is doing well but the Yaris WRC seems to have rolled over.
Meeke ranks 4″1 behind Ogier and is only 2″5 ahead of the Frenchman in the general classification. “It’s getting hard now. I remain happy with the car so far. »
Latvala went off the road at the 5th km of the special.
Latvala is arrested in the special. The Toyota driver was 5th ahead of the Hyundais of Breen and Mikkelsen.
Mikkelsen sets the 3rd provisional time, almost 5 seconds behind Ogier. The Hyundai driver is 7th behind his teammate Breen.
Ostberg left the service 11 minutes late following “a small technical problem”. “We are thus losing our last hopes of a WRC 2 Pro title. I am very disappointed. » The driver of the C3 R5 was less than 7 seconds behind leader Rovanperä. »
2/2 SERVICE UPDATEA small technical issue went completely wrong and we were 11 minutes delayed out of service. And with that we also lost the last chance of winning the WRC2Pro championship. I'm very disappointed @WalesRallyGB @OfficialWRC

Neuville failed 5”1 behind Ogier and 1”2 behind Tänak. The Belgian slipped behind the Citroën driver 3″9 behind and was only 1″3 ahead of Tänak. “I can’t really attack. I have to stay very clean but the car moves a lot. We lack grip. I'm struggling a bit. »
Ogier takes back almost 4s from Tänak. The Citroën driver is now ahead of the Estonian by 5″2. “I'm satisfied but it was still hard. The road remains rough. I am satisfied with the choice of tires. »
Tänak ranked in 9'48″2 and still seems to be losing time against Ogier. That's more than 5 seconds more than his time for the morning.
The crews have already set off on the 16,19km Penmachno special. He was the fastest this morning with a time of 9'43″0.
