Takamoto Katsuta (Ford) remains in the lead of WRC 2 by resisting pressure from Pontus Tidemand (Skoda) who remains four seconds behind the Japanese. Ole Veiby (Skoda) follows at seven seconds with five seconds ahead of Jari Huttunen (Hyundai).

Hayden Paddon wraps up a great day for Hyundai at Rally Sweden. The New Zealander took the scratch in the Torsby SS8 (9,56km) which will serve as a Power Stage in the final stage, setting a time of 6'23"8 with around three seconds ahead of his teammates Thierry Neuville and Andreas Mikkelsen. Esapekka Lappi (Toyota) follows at 3”6 ahead of Mads Ostberg (Citroën), Teemu Suninen (M-Sport) and Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) who is nine seconds behind the benchmark. Craig Breen (Citroën) is the first by more than ten seconds. The Irishman precedes Elfyn Evans (M-Sport), Ott Tänak (Toyota) and Kris Meeke (Citroën). Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport) is once again the slowest with more than 23 seconds behind.

Thierry Neuville finished the stage with a lead of 4” over Andreas Mikkelsen. Hayden Paddon climbs onto the provisional podium monopolized by Hyundai. The New Zealander is a few tenths ahead of the Citroëns of Craig Breen and Mads Ostberg who precede the group of Finns made up of Teemu Suninen, Esapekka Lappi and Jari-Matti Latvala. Ott Tänak and Kris Meeke complete the Top ten ahead of Elfyn Evans who took 9th place from Sébastien Ogier with a 11” lead.

Ostberg drops 5"7 to Paddon and slips to 5th place, 6 tenths behind his teammate Breen.

Paddon finished in style as he was 2″9 ahead of his teammate Neuville. The performance is not small since the Hyundai driver climbs onto the provisional podium with half a second ahead of Breen, even if Ostberg is still in the special.

Suninen finished in 4th place, 4” behind the benchmark after losing his headlight strip in the special. The M-Sport driver ranks 1th.

Breen sets the 5th time, 7″2 behind Neuville. The Citroën driver also lost 7s to Mikkelsen while he was fighting at the front.

Mikkelsen finished a tenth behind his teammate Neuville. The Norwegian remains less than 5 seconds from the leader in the general classification.

Confirmation of Evans' time. The M-Sport driver finished 11″5 off the provisional scratch and took 11th place from Ogier with a 7″5 lead over the Frenchman.

Lappi narrowly missed the provisional scratch with 7 tenths behind Neuville. The Toyota driver is in 7th place with almost half a minute ahead of his teammate Latvala.

Evans finishes but his time is not yet known. The M-Sport driver should take 11th place occupied by his teammate Ogier.

Neuville improves the mark with a 6″3 lead over Latvala. The Belgian is fighting to maintain his leadership position.

Meeke lost a lot of time in this SS, 10s behind Latvala. The Citroën driver is 10th, more than 14 seconds behind Tänak in the general classification.

Latvala increases the pace again with an 8″ lead over his teammate Tänak. The Finn is 1th with almost 8 seconds ahead of the Estonian.

Tänak still manages to beat Ogier by 6″1 on this short course. The Toyota driver is in 9th place.

Night has now fallen on the special. The crews move with their headlights on.
