In WRC-2, Pontus Tidemand (Skoda Fabia R5) set the provisional best time in 6'11″9, two tenths ahead of Eric Camilli (Ford Fiesta R5). Teemu Suninen (Ford Fiesta R5) is in third position at 2″0, when Jan Kopecky (Skoda Fabia R5) loses 9″ on Tidemand, but retains the lead in the category by 5″8.

The last special of the day at Rally Germany was won by Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota), with a best time set in 5'54″9, four tenths ahead of Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) and eight tenths ahead of Ott Tänak ( Ford).

The latter is still leading the race this evening, with a lead increased to 5″7 over Andreas Mikkelsen (Citroën), fourth in SS8, 2″0 behind Latvala and 1″2 behind Ott Tänak. Behind this duo, Sébastien Ogier (Ford) lost his third place after a spin and lost 21″5 in this sector.

The Frenchman gives up his position in the top 3 to Thierry Neuville by 2″4. The M-Sport driver is not the only one to have had a heat in this last time since several drivers, Neuville and even Craig Breen (Citroën), also went to visit the sides.
