Jari Huttunen, who got off to a good start despite his problem during SS8, set the 11th time 11″7 behind Lappi.
Adrien Fourmaux was cautious on this special and conceded 9″9 on Lappi’s best time.

Esapekka Lappi does it again on SS8 and beats Ott Tänak once again! What a duel the two pilots are giving us! The Toyota driver is 9 tenths quicker on SS9 and is 5″3 behind the Estonian.
There is something better for the M-Sports on this Ässämäki special compared to earlier: Gus Greensmith only concedes 4″2 on the best time.
And Craig Breen is faster than the Japanese! The M-Sport driver is only 3″0 behind Tänak and recovers 1″2 on Katsuta.
Takamoto Katsuta loses a little ground with 4″2 behind Tänak, now look at Breen’s time for 5th place…
Tänak is once again faster than Rovanperä and sets the best time in 5'38″5!
