In the general classification, Éric Camilli gleans a position to the detriment of Takamoto Katsuta:

Leader in WRC 2, Mads Ostberg finished the special behind Éric Camilli, 5″8 behind. In the general classification, Éric Camilli remains the first R5 competitor with almost 30″ ahead of the Norwegian.

Despite his worries, Éric Camilli rode faster than Nicolas Ciamin by 9″6!

Éric Camilli would be the victim of brake problems. The WRC 3 leader refused to speak to TV production at the stopping point of the special.

Winner of the first special stage on Saturday morning at Monte-Carlo, Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) scrounges a few tenths from leader Sébastien Ogier (Toyota). The Frenchman, however, increases his lead over his teammate Elfyn Evans (Toyota) to 2″8.

In mostly icy conditions, Sébastien Loeb achieved the fourth best time and increased his lead over Esapekka Lappi (Ford). The Japanese Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota) lost almost four minutes following an improvised trick and a stop to remove the snow accumulated in front of the radiator.

In the general classification, Sébastien Ogier increases his lead to 2″8 over Elfyn Evans while Thierry Neuville returns to 5″6.

The Frenchman finished eight tenths behind Thierry Neuville but 2″4 ahead of Elfyn Evans!

Sébastien Ogier lost two tenths on Thierry Neuville at the last intermediate but gained more than a second on Elfyn Evans.
