We won't see Aston Martin again in Barcelona either. Like Haas and Alpine, the British team will not be able to send Stroll onto the track this Friday afternoon. “Despite the team's efforts, we will not go out today. We thank the entire team for their efforts. » As a reminder, Vettel was forced to stop the AMR22 on track at the end of the session this morning. An oil leak was then detected by the mechanics
UPDATE: Despite the team's best efforts, we will not be running again today.
We'd like to thank the team for all their hard work. We are going to Bahrain again. 👊 #F1Testing pic.twitter.com/ke2z9EeddX

Hamiton begins to sign some timed laps. The Briton currently has a best time of 1'34″314, still on intermediate tires of course.
Testing completed for Haas. Although it had high hopes of sending Schumacher to the wet track this Friday afternoon, the American team indicated that the repairs on the VF22 are taking longer than expected, forcing it to lower the garage curtain for good.
Whilst we'd hoped that the car would be able to return this afternoon, the repair work is going to take several more hours, so unfortunately we will not be back on track today.# HaasF1 pic.twitter.com/sVOhVvb5BM

Aston Martin found the source of the problem which forced Vettel to stop on track before the end of the first session. It was an oil leak which caused a small fire. The team continues to work to try to send Stroll out on track this afternoon
UPDATE: The team has determined that it was an oil leak that caused # SV5 to stop on track shortly before lunch.
The oil leak caused a small fire but with the car now back in the garage, we are investigating where the issue came from.#F1Testing
