Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) won the Belgian Grand Prix ahead of Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari), despite pressure from the German driver during the restart following contact and debris spread on the track by the Force India of Esteban Ocon and Sergio Pérez.
Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull) completes the podium after taking advantage of the restart to pass Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes), who also lost a position to Kimi Räikkönen (Ferrari), despite being penalized with a 10″ stop&go during the event for not having respected the yellow flags.
Nico Hülkenberg (Renault) follows in sixth position ahead of Romain Grosjean (Haas), Felipe Massa (Williams), Esteban Ocon and Carlos Sainz (Toro Rosso). Fernando Alonso (McLaren) was forced to retire following an engine problem. More information to follow.

T42 – Pérez is asked to return to the pits.
T42 – New absolute race lap record for Vettel in Belgium in 1’46″577.
T41 – Vettel fails to return to the Hamilton DRS zone, who maintains a 1″2 lead over his German rival. With such a result, the Mercedes driver would come within seven points of the Scuderia Ferrari resident.
T39 – If Hamilton starts to complain about rear tire temperatures, Ferrari tells Vettel that he can attack without worries given the performance of his tires.
Slow motion footage shows Magnussen locking his wheels while braking from the final chicane on the restart after the safety car re-entered. The Dane came close to colliding with his Haas teammate Romain Grosjean. The latter, however, was hit by Massa in this sequence.
T36 – Hamilton widened the gap in the previous lap, and is now ahead of Vettel by 1″2. The German may have missed his chance.

T34 – Vettel tries to attack Hamilton on the Kemmel straight but cannot succeed in his maneuver. Behind, Ricciardo and Räikkönen passed Bottas, who seemed to be in difficulty.
T34 – After a long wait while weaving around the track, Hamilton restarts the race and is immediately under pressure from Vettel.
The incident between Ocon and Pérez was noted by the race direction.
T33 – The safety car will enter at the end of this lap.
Fernando Alonso admits to Canal + that he stopped following an engine problem.
T32 – Hamilton, Vettel and Bottas are grouped behind the safety car. Ricciardo follows in fourth position ahead of Räikkönen, Hülkenberg, Grosjean, Massa, Magnussen and Ocon. Pérez fell back to 14th position.
