>>>>> Valtteri Bottas ends first week of Barcelona testing on top <<<<
Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes) therefore ended the day and the first week of these 2020 winter tests with the absolute best time in 1'15"732, beating his teammate Lewis Hamilton by 0"784.
Esteban Ocon (Renault) maintains his third place, more than 1″3 behind the Finn.
Checkered flag in Catalonia!
It's Sebastian Vettel's turn to cross the barrier of 100 completed laps. The engine problem on the SF1000 this morning will not have had too much of an impact on the Scuderia in terms of mileage.
The track is clearly coming to life at the end of the day, with eight cars currently in action.
1'18″454 for Lando Norris (McLaren) on his last pass.
There is less than a quarter of an hour left in this last driving session of this first Catalan week.
Only Lance Stroll (Racing Point F1) and Antonio Giovinazzi (Alfa Romeo) completed more than 100 laps this Friday.
Hamilton equals Bottas in the number of laps completed (65). Mercedes is heading towards the greatest number of loops covered by team in this first week.
