Kris Meeke (Citroën) wins the Rally Mexico despite going off the road in the Power Stage. The Northern Irishman was able to return to the road with a flat wheel and won with a 13sec lead over Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport). Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) completes the podium ahead of Ott Tänak (M-Sport) and Hayden Paddon (Hyundai). Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) finished 8th with a lead of 6 seconds over his teammate Juho Hänninen.

Thierry Neuville won the Power Stage by completing the 21,94km of Derramadero in 12’13”9. Sébastien Ogier follows 3 tenths behind and takes control of the Championship. Ott Tänak follows at 3”8 ahead of Jari-Matti Latvala and Dani Sordo (Hyundai).

Ogier is the fastest in the 1st intermediate with 9 tenths ahead of Tänak. Neuville is also faster than the Estonian with a 1″ lead over the Ford in the 3nd split.

Tänak improves the provisional reference with a time of 12’17″7, or 4″2 better than Latvala. The M-Sport driver secured 4th place, his best result in this event. “I lost a lot of time on Friday, but it felt better after that. I was better behind the wheel and I was able to attack. »
