Amazing ! While he was on the verge of taking pole position, Verstappen was called back to his pit by his engineer. Pole position thus goes to Leclerc who is ahead of Pérez and Hamilton. The three men are separated by only 54 thousandths. Verstappen is only 8th and did not hide his anger on the radio!
Very good performance from Alonso who places his Alpine in 3rd row with the 5th time of this Q3 just ahead of Norris' McLaren. Very good news in view of the fight for 4th place among the Manufacturers while Ocon is only 18th.
