Small disappointment for Lando Norris who was unable to go higher than 9th position in this Q3. The Englishman missed his last lap and will have to start behind his teammate Daniel Ricciardo, 7th on the grid tomorrow
100th pole position for Lewis Hamilton! The Englishman beat Max Verstappen and Valtteri Bottas. Charles Leclerc and Esteban Ocon complete the Top 5
Leclerc improves for his part and moves up to 4th place!
Hamilton does not improve his time just like Bottas and Verstappen!
There will be no new attempt for Ricciardo who did not cross the start/finish line on time

As the drivers return to their pits to put on a new set of tires here is the provisional classification for this Q3: Hamilton, Verstappen, Bottas, Ocon, Sainz, Ricciardo, Leclerc, Norris, Alonso and Pérez
The wave of first times has passed. Hamilton is in the lead after a lap completed in 1'16″741. Verstappen is 2nd just 36 thousandths behind the Englishman

At the top of the timesheet, Verstappen set the best time of this Q2, even falling below the 1'17 mark. The Dutchman beat Hamilton and Bottas. Ferrari for its part confirms its good form with the 4th and 7th times of Sainz and Leclerc. Alpine will also be in Q3. Ocon and Alonso ranked 9th and 10th respectively
This is the end of Q2. With the 10th time, Alonso narrowly qualifies for Q3. Stroll, Gasly, Vettel, Giovinazzi and Russell are eliminated from this Q2
