Vandoorne: “It's a disappointment because the McLarens could have gone to Q3, but we had a problem that we couldn't resolve in time. The session remains positive, given that we had a lot of traffic which cost us time. »

Ocon: “We've come a long way, it wasn't easy at the start. I was able to enjoy a clear lap even if I didn't feel like I was doing an exceptional time. I hope to get a lot of points, but we will have to fight to keep it. We will also try to take advantage of the surprises in the race. I am satisfied with this result. »

Grosjean on Canal+: “It was the maximum we could do and I was aware that I had no chance in Q2. We know that a few small things are penalizing us, notably the flat bottom which is damaged and makes us lose a lot of support. It remains Monaco and everything is possible. I remember taking 8th place in 2014 in front of Jules (Bianchi) after finding myself last shortly after the start. »
