No major improvement was noted in this second qualifying session, largely disrupted by rain. The #88 Abu Dhabi – Proton Racing Porsche nevertheless moved up to third in the GTE Am category, having improved just before the rain.

Krohn spun in the Hunaudières at the wheel of the #40 Ligier. The rain makes conditions particularly difficult for fans.
Brief yellow flag in zone 26 (Arnage) for the deviation from the trajectory of the No. 458 Clearwater Racing Ferrari 61 Italia, which was able to continue its effort.
Dumas took the wheel of the No. 2 Porsche. The six LMP1-Hs now face the rain which has increased in the first part of the circuit.
The #2 Porsche is the only one to be in the pits. Hartley is at the wheel of the No. 1, Conway and Davidson are in the Toyotas, Fässler and Di Grassi drive the Audis.
Chatin spun at the exit of the Raccordement corner. The PB Compétition Ligier is 10th in the LMP2 category.

Yellow flag at zone 20 (Mulsanne), a keel would be the track. A slow-zone is about to be deployed in sectors 19 and 20 of the Le Mans circuit.
Change of driver at Ford with Andy Priaulx and Olivier Pla moving into GT n°67 and 68.
The six LMP1-Hs are currently on the track. The pace is changing almost half a minute from pole.
Fässler returned to the track in the No. 7 Audi, still in 5th position. The German will not be able to improve his place given the still rainy conditions in certain parts of the circuit:

Gommendy returned to the track with intermediate tires in conditions which remained very difficult. The #05 Eurasia Motorsport Oreca 33 occupies 10th place in LMP2:
