With Kamui Kobayashi's record lap in Q2 in 3'14"791 in the No. 050 Toyota TS7 Hybrid shared with Stéphane Sarrazin and Mike Conway, the Japanese brand took pole position for the 85th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

G-Drive Racing with the No. 07 Oreca 26 of Lynn – Thiriet – Rusinov will start from pole in LM P2. Aston Martin dominated the GTE Pro with the No. 97 Vantage of Turner – Adam – Serra, while Fernando Rees, Christian Philippon and Romain Brandela will start from pole in GTE Am with the No. 7 Corvette C50.R from Larbre Compétition.
