The final stage of the Rally Mexico, which will consist of three special stages, will take place from 16:03 p.m.

Benito Guerra Jr (Skoda) is in 6th place leading WRC 2 with several minutes ahead of Wilkinson Bulacia (Skoda). Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) moved up to 8th place ahead of Dani Sordo (Hyundai).

Elfyn Evans (M-Sport) retained the advantage over Ott Tänak (Toyota) in the 1,11km long Leon super special even if he lost a second to the Estonian who finished 6 tenths behind the reference. Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) managed by finishing 6 tenths behind the Estonian.

Sébastien Ogier concludes the second stage of the Rally Mexico with a lead of 27 seconds over Elfyn Evans who maintains second place for 2 seconds ahead of Ott Tänak. Thierry Neuville and Kris Meeke (Toyota) still complete the Top 2 even if the Northern Irishman progressed slowly following a gearbox problem.

Latvala signs the 6th time, 1″4 behind Sordo’s scratch.

Ogier finished the special 1”2 behind Sordo’s provisional scratch. The Frenchman has a 27s lead over Evans in the general classification on the evening of the 2nd stage.

Neuville: “A lot happened today. We tried different things on the shock absorbers this afternoon with Dani Sordo. It didn't change much. We don't seem to be able to sign any scratches at the moment. »

Meeke: “It’s a tough and difficult rally. It's not the result we wanted because of this puncture, but it is what it is. I then had gearbox problems. »

Evans drops a second on Tänak but retains his 2nd place for a little less than 3 seconds ahead of the Toyota driver.

Meeke finished 19s behind the provisional scratch. The Toyota driver clearly appears to be suffering from a mechanical problem.

Meeke begins the super special in slow motion. The Toyota driver is on a slow pace but his 5th place is not in danger.

Sordo: “The first passage had some pleasant moments. It was more complicated in the second, but we had to work on the settings for future events. It's always different when you're in a fight compared to this situation. »

Tänak ranks 6 tenths behind Sordo. He is the slowest of the drivers at the finish. The Toyota driver is in the middle of a fight for 2nd position against Evans.

Neuville ranks 2 tenths behind his teammate Sordo. The Belgian remains well established in 4th place.

Sordo beats Mikkelsen by 3 tenths. The Spaniard is moving towards 10th place despite Rally 2.
