After his fourth consecutive Sprint victory this Saturday, Marc Márquez doubled his lead in Losail, winning Sunday's Grand Prix. With his brother Alex having lost a few points during the race, the gap between the two Cervera natives now stands at 22 points, while Francesco Bagnaia is now thirty points behind his teammate. Franco Morbidelli, who finished fourth in the Grand Prix, is also fourth in the championship, although he is already 48 points behind the leader.

After retiring on Saturday, Johann Zarco found his form again with an excellent fifth place, which allows him to move up to sixth position in the championship. Behind five Ducatis, the Honda rider is therefore the best of the rest. His compatriot fabio quartararo also leaves Qatar with good points, and the 2021 world champion is now in ninth position in the world championship. The festivities continue in Jerez on the weekend of April 27, for the Spanish Grand Prix.
