There is no doubt that the French Grand Prix of MotoGP gave us the most thrilling end of the race of the season. From the start of the second part of the event, the fight for victory took shape between three men: Jorge Martin, Marc Marquez and Pecco Bagnaia.

What followed was an intense match, during which the slightest mistake promised to be costly. In front of the checkered flag, the Pramac driver managed to snatch victory, ahead of his compatriot, and his closest pursuer in the championship.

Third in the French Grand Prix, the reigning world champion did not hide a certain disappointment, but is nevertheless delighted at the idea of fighting in this way during the next meetings.

The Italian says he is certain that the three machines which dominated the Le Mans race will be the ones which will liven up the rest of the season.

“For me, at the moment, we are the three most complete drivers in the championship, assures Bagnaia after the event. The other drivers are fast enough to perform well, and can win races. But I think in terms of speed and consistency we are ahead of the others, especially in Jorge's case.

Without his fall in Jerez, I think that Martin would have joined the battle between Marc and me, then assures the Ducati rider. We would have had the same scenario as here at Le Mans: the same guys fighting for victory. I think that for the rest of the championship, we should expect something similar. »

An ideal scenario for the championship as the three men fight for different causes. One hopes to win his first crown in the premier category, while the other tries to defend his title, while the third hopes to return to the top after years of scarcity.

In the Drivers' standings, Martin (129 points) still maintains a good advantage over Bagnaia (91 points) and Marquez (89 points).
