I am very happy to be able to continue this fantastic journey. I am looking forward to doing it alongside the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team and Ducati Corse.
I feel like I arrived here almost by chance. But immediately I felt at home, continues the Transalpine. I would like to thank Vale (Rossi) and Uccio (Salucci). The machine and the support he will have should indeed allow him to return to the highest level, since with Pecco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez, they will be the only three to have what should be the best bike in the field. Enough to give great hopes to the man who has not found the path to victory since the 2023 Qatar Grand Prix. A success which was also his first in the premier category.
“It’s a big project, in which I feel 100% involved. We can dream of the top step of the podium. We continue to work. To grow every weekend. It’s an extra injection of confidence. I will continue to always give the best of myself” adds Di Giannantonio.
The Italian should find himself alongside Franco Morbidelli, whose departure rumors from Pramac are starting to intensify. The No. 21 should be equipped with the Desmosedici GP24 from Ducati, which it already has at present.
« We are delighted to have Fabio Di Giannantonio among our Ducati riders for the next two years, expresses Gigi Dall'Igna, general manager of Ducati Corse. 'Diggia' has always shown great confidence in our project. His dedication and talent have led him to develop steadily in MotoGP. We are sure that with the VR46 Racing Team and having an official Desmosedici GP, he will have even more chances to take full advantage of his potential. Officially welcome to the Ducati family, Fabio! »
