The prototype that Borgo Panigale will develop for the implementation of the new regulations of the MotoGP Thus, the test was put to the test in 2027.

With Ducati, 4 manufacturers have crossed the threshold
According to information reported by GP One, the weather made this first outing difficult and challenging. The Misano circuit was shrouded in clouds, and the wind was quite strong. Ducati could nevertheless have continued its work on several fronts. The manufacturer was conducting tests on both its future MotoGP bike and trials for other racing programs.
A member of Ducati's test team for years, Michele Pirro is not expected to work alone on this project in the next phases of its development. Between his commitments to the Superbike World Championship, Nicolò Bulega holds the same role as his compatriot. Bulega has extensive knowledge of Pirelli tires, which he has used for years in the category he currently dominates at the start of this season.
Honda, KTM, and Yamaha had already tested their 2027 prototypes during the winter. After Ducati, only Aprilia has yet to run its future machine on the track. This first test for the Noale-based manufacturer is, however, expected in the coming weeks.
