Jorge Martin may not reach the end of his contract with Aprilia

Indeed, according to information from Sky Sports Italy, this Monday, May 12, the reigning world champion of MotoGP, under contract until the end of 2026 with the Noale team, would like to leave the team at the end of this year. Although the two parties are still far from a separation, the Spanish driver could take advantage of a release clause in his contract to leave for the competition. Thus, according to Sky Sports, this stipulates that if he was not classified among the title contenders after six races, or after Le Mans, he was then simply not obliged to honor his second year of contract.

Jorge Martin finds himself in this situation. And for good reason: the Madrid native, who was injured during the offseason, initially missed the first three GPs of the season.
