Marc Márquez continues to make history in MotoGP, dominating the 2025 season without being overly concerned. Last Sunday, at the Aragon circuit, the Spanish rider claimed another victory, his 66th in the premier class, and the fourth of his campaign. With this victory, achieved in the eighth of the twenty-two rounds scheduled for this year, he already has one more than last year, when he rode for Team Gresini.

The number 93 hasn't reached this number of victories since 2019, when he notched up twelve wins. Further proof of his return to the forefront of the sport, a few years after terrible injuries.

The Argon Grand Prix also saw a rare statistic, as Marc Márquez also achieved the perfect Grand Slam: pole position, Grand Prix victory, and fastest race lap. All while defending the lead every lap. This has not been achieved since last year at Aragon, when Marc Márquez himself took the victory.

The Ducati Factory Team rider also took the lead in each of the weekend's races. This was a feat no one had been able to achieve in 10 years, and until midway through the 2015 season. That year, it was once again Marc Marquez who put on a show. He then achieved a similar performance at the Sachsenring, during the German Grand Prix.

Last Sunday was Marc Márquez's eighth victory at Aragon. The circuit thus becomes the third on which he has won seven or more races since moving to MotoGP in 2013. The other two are Sachsenring (8 wins) and Austin (7). All are circuits that run counterclockwise.

At the end of this weekend of competition, Marc Márquez retains the lead in the world championship with 233 points. He has thus widened the gap between himself and his main rivals. The Spaniard now leads his brother, Alex, by 32 points, and Francesco Bagnaia by 93 points. This substantial lead gives him valuable room to maneuver for the rest of the season.
