  • Saturday expert, Jorge Martin once again demonstrated his effectiveness in the Sprint format by securing his 8th victory of the season in Qatar. By adding 12 points to his tally, the Spaniard also ensures that Francesco Bagnaia, fifth at the finish, loses any mathematical chance of winning the title this Sunday at the end of the Main Race.
  • The Pramac driver, however, did not rest during the event, and took all possible risks to get ahead of his opponents, notably hitting the No. 1 twice during his maneuvers without either of them being impacted. He also resisted the return of Fabio di Giannantonio at the end of the race without the latter managing to try to overtake him.
  • The weekend's pole sitter, Luca Marini, completed the podium, while Alex Marquez finished fourth, having resisted Bagnaia's attacks.
  • Positive end of Saturday for fabio quartararo who moved up to 8th place, getting the better of his compatriot, Johann Zarco (10th) at the end of the event.
  • Maverick Vinales (6th), Brad Binder (7th) and Augusto Fernandez (9th) complete the top 10.
  • Author of a good start, Marc Marquez's task becomes complicated at the end of the race. The multiple world champion finished 11th.
  • Aleix Espargaro is definitely not taking advantage of the excellent form of his Aprilia at Losail. After receiving six penalty places on the starting grid for a violent gesture directed at Franco Morbidelli, the Spaniard clashes with Enea Bastianini (20th), and will not see the end of the Sprint, just like Miguel Oliveira.
  • Only 7 points separate the two competitors for the world title before the main race to follow this Sunday from 18:00 p.m.
