The Ricardo Tormo circuit is back as host of the championship final. MotoGPThe 2024 Valencia Grand Prix, which was originally scheduled to be held in Barcelona, was postponed due to devastating floods that struck the region shortly before the race. Unlike the last Valencia Grand Prix, which featured a thrilling finale between Jorge Martín and Pecco Bagnaia, the title has already been decided for 2025. This year's champion, Marc Márquez, will not participate in the final race, however, as he is still recovering from a broken right collarbone.
Among the favorites for victory are the most recent winners: Marco Bezzecchi, Alex Márquez, and Fermín Aldeguer. Pedro Acosta could also spring a surprise, having come very close to his first win in the Sprint at Portimão. With six different riders having won the last seven Grands Prix, it's conceivable that the KTM rider could become the seventh.
This Friday, the weekend begins with the FP1 session, slightly delayed due to a Moto2 Free Practice interruption. The day continues in the afternoon with Practice, which will send the top ten in the final standings to Q2.
