Less than three years after the start of his adventure in MotoGPDan Rossomondo will leave the organization. Recruited as commercial director in 2023, notably for his experience in the NBA (American Basketball Championship - Ed.), where he worked for more than 15 years, he will leave the organization in January 2026.

He notably worked on the championship's rebranding, announced at the end of 2024, while also trying to lay the foundations for long-term commercial success. However, on the eve of Liberty Media's takeover, it seems that a housecleaning is underway within the ranks of the former organization.
“Dan played an important role in the commercial evolution of MotoGP,” confides Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of MotoGP. He has been a trusted member of our management team. We are grateful for his dedication and the positive impact he has had on the sport. We wish him all the best for the future.
The American businessman will continue to provide strategic advice to Carmelo Ezpeleta and his team during the transition period. His replacement has not yet been named.
And the person in question added: “I want to thank Carmelo and the team for their support over the past three years. I loved discovering this amazing sport and I’ve become a true fan. In the future, I will continue to support its success from the United States, where I am returning to spend more time with my family.”
