The weekends follow one another and are the same for fabio quartararo en MotoGPThe Frenchman, who once again performed very well in qualifying with a front row position, had more difficulty maintaining his position throughout the Czech Grand Prix in Brno. He finally reached the finish in sixth place, ahead of an extremely impressive Jorge Martín on his return to the track after three months of inactivity.

The Frenchman, who recently spoke out about Yamaha's struggles, still described his race as "more than adequate" on Canal+. Slightly fatalistic, the 2021 world champion is now well aware of the limitations of a YZR-M1 that has nevertheless managed to raise its game this season.

"We always have problems in the first five laps, that's where we try to improve. Then, the pace we can produce in the race is simply ours. We clearly know that the other brands have a bit more grip, a bit more power, which is important here. I think we still had a more than decent race."

With MotoGP now entering its summer break ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix in almost a month, "El Diablo" is welcoming this forced break with relief! It must be said that since the Sepang tests in February, he and Yamaha have been busy. With the Japanese brand having significant concessions to try to close the gap with Ducati, Quartararo has been able to participate in several private test sessions, as has his teammate Álex Rins.

"I don't know what my state of mind will be, but I'm happy to be going on vacation! Honestly, it was a very long first part of the season, we also did private tests all over the place, it was very long and now we'll have to enjoy the break and join our friends."
