In 2026, MotoGP will share the track with a new support category for six of the twenty-two rounds scheduled on its calendar: the Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup. As announced at the Austrian Grand Prix, the first round of this competition will take place in the United States, at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, while the season will conclude in Austria at the end of September, before MotoGP heads to Asia.

While the names of the drivers who will participate in this championship are still unclear, on the sidelines of the Portuguese Grand Prix, the names of the first teams, as well as the weekend formats, were revealed. Each of the six championship weekends will consist of two races. This will make twelve races to determine the drivers' standings over the season.

Regarding the teams, three continents are already represented on the grid. Europe is represented by the Italian team, Cecchini Racing. Oceania is represented by Joe Rascal Racing, an Australian team, while Saddlemen Racing will defend the American colors. The names of the other teams on the grid should be announced soon. As a reminder, last August, the series expected 6 to 8 teams for its inaugural season, for a total of 12 to 16 motorcycles. The occasion also provided the perfect opportunity to unveil the logo for the future championship (see cover photo).
