After 21 races, the final of MotoGP has finally arrived. The 2025 season was the scene of Marc Márquez's ninth title and return to the top, and the rise of newcomer Fermín Aldeguer, among others, and was full of twists and turns.
While the Márquez brothers had already secured the top two spots in the Riders' Championship, the third step of the podium has now been claimed by Marco Bezzecchi, with 328 points, despite Pedro Acosta's second-place finish in the Sprint Championship. The Spaniard (294 points) holds a comfortable lead over Francesco Bagnaia, fifth with 288 points, who can therefore no longer contend for the final podium position he held until the Portuguese Grand Prix.
Bezzecchi, despite being widely expected to win thanks to his high-performance machine, finished only fifth in the Sprint. Today, however, the #72 will attempt to convert his pole position into a sixth victory this season, across both Sprint and Grand Prix races.
