Pilot a MotoGP It is not without risks, and the pilots are aware of this. As every year, the discipline offers the twenty-two participants moments of joy, and others less joyful, with crashes falling into the latter category.
Among them, Johann Zarco holds first place in this ranking, having crashed 28 times during the year. Behind him are Jack Miller (25) and Franco Morbidelli (23), tied with Alex Márquez. The other Frenchman on the grid, fabio quartararo, has half as many. The Nice native has crashed 13 times this season, one less than the reigning world champion, Marc Márquez.
Throughout the 2025 season, MotoGP recorded 349 crashes. This is slightly more than Moto3 (341), with Moto2 having the fewest crashes, with 275 recorded losses of control. Adding these figures together, the total number of crashes seen on the circuits in 2025 approaches 1,000. The exact number is 965.
Finally, the Grand Prix with the most crashes was none other than the French Grand Prix, held at the Bugatti circuit in Le Mans. The scene of Johann Zarco's victory had hosted the race in challenging conditions. Over the course of the weekend, 70 crashes were recorded among the participants.
