Alex Márquez takes the third step of the podium at Misano. Starting on the front row alongside local polesitter Marco Bezzecchi, the Spaniard was quickly overtaken by his brother and relegated to third place. However, in the pace of the first two, the Gresini rider returned to the attack for a while on the No. 93 bike but finally crossed the finish line in troisième, behind his brother, the winner, and the Italian from Aprilia.
« I'm really happy to be on the podium today, said the younger Márquez after the arrival. Third was really the maximum I could go for, they had something extra all weekend. We did a very good job. We have to continue like this. Misano is not a circuit that totally suits my riding style. I am very proud to put this livery on the podium. It was a dream to get on the podium with this livery at Misano, it's for Fausto. »
