After Trackhouse Racing, it's Aprilia's turn to unveil its RS-GP for 2025. The event was undoubtedly the most anticipated of the presentations for the next campaign, given the brand's brand new line-up.
From now on, the Noale factory will be hiring the services of the reigning world champion, Jorge Martin, as well as Marco Bezzecchi, multiple Grand Prix winner and former VR46 rider.
The meeting was also the occasion for the Spaniard to give his verdict on the number he will use next year. After winning the championship with the n°89, the 'Martinator' could keep it, or choose to display the n°1 on the fairing of his Aprilia.
We now know that Jorge Martín will take part in the 2025 season of MotoGP with the number 1, previously held by Pecco Bagnaia.
“Becoming a factory rider was a big dream for me, recalls Martin. I feel like I'm in the right place. It was a great visit. I had no doubts about the number 1. I've fought for it all my life. So becoming MotoGP champion allowed me to put that number on my Aprilia. I hope it will be extra motivation for Aprilia. »
