Confident about the championship, Marc Márquez tempers the importance of his mistake

The drivers will start tomorrow in the same order for the San Marino Grand Prix, but Márquez is not afraid of the speed of the Italian Marco Bezzecchi. I think Bezzecchi will be the fastest rider tomorrow. He has a very good pace, especially because the medium rear tire hasn't dropped. So he'll be very fast, he accepted. Surprisingly calm after his fall, Márquez took a step back: " Nobody's perfect. In the end, I took a lot of risks in the Sprint races this season and it was a success every time. […] Since Austria a year ago, I hadn't made a single mistake in the Sprint. It can happen, he put into perspective. Maybe I didn't pay attention to the tire temperature, which was too hot, because a few corners before, I had overtaken Bezzecchi. But I'm relaxed. There are still 170 points left. "The priority for Márquez remains speed." The most important thing is that if you fall while you are in the lead, it means that you have the speed " he recalled.

Fortunately, he escaped unharmed from his crash, and this is the first time that Marc Márquez has not finished a sprint race this season. With a comfortable lead of 173 point, the championship is not at stake and Marc Márquez remains well in the lead. He will therefore have a match point in Japan after Alex Márquez's second place in the Sprint. For the championship leader, it doesn't matter: " People always talk about winning the championship as soon as possible, but the most important thing is to win it." he emphasized.
