This Saturday morning, Marco Bezzecchi had his first opportunity to defend his pole position at Mandalika. Joining him on a unique front row were Fermin Aldeguer and Raul Fernandez. However, when the lights went out, the Italian had a chaotic start. He finished the first lap in 6th position.

Determined to make up for this mistake, he overtook his rivals one by one. However, he approached the final lap in the wake of Fermin Aldeguer, the Spaniard still believing in victory. The Italian's Aprilia, however, was moving at a different pace, and he wasted no time in overcoming his final obstacle to claim victory. Starting third, Raul Fernandez maintained his ranking and completed the podium.

Reflecting his weekend, Marc Marquez had a disappointing Sprint. After sending Alex Rins wide in the opening laps of the race, he was given a Long Lap penalty. He still managed to climb back to 7th position to pick up 3 points. This was his worst Saturday finish this season.

As he had imagined, fabio quartararo had a difficult race to manage. Starting from 8th position on the grid, he was involved in various incidents and did not reach the finish of the Sprint. For Johann Zarco, the positives are also difficult to draw from this sprint. Starting 18th, the Frenchman was unable to do anything to get back to the front. He ended his race with a crash on the 10th lap. He must now concentrate on his Sunday to try to take points from this weekend. Especially since the factory team was celebrating at Honda, Joan Mir finishing 5th, and Luca Marini, 6th.

After his Sprint victory in Japan, Pecco Bagnaia ruined his chances this morning by finishing 16th in Qualifying. He nevertheless finished 14th, the last of the Sprint drivers.
