The Argentine Grand Prix, which will take place at the Termas de Río Hondo circuit from March 14 to 16, 2025, marks the second round of the season. MotoGPAnd as in Thailand, Aprilia will have to do without the reigning 2024 world champion, Jorge Martín, who is still injured.
Its line-up will therefore be identical to that displayed in Buriram, namely Marco Bezzecchi and Lorenzo Savadori, the brand's reserve driver.
After a promising start, during which he landed a respectable sixth place Despite a difficult qualifying session that placed him ninth on the grid, Marco Bezzecchi is confident. This result reflects his rapid adaptation to the RS-GP25. These sensations are essential for performing well on the circuit that saw him secure his first MotoGP victory two years ago.
"I am very happy to finally return to Argentina, Marco Bezzecchi rejoices. I really like this track and was disappointed not to go there last year. We did a good job in Thailand and need to keep improving with the team. I can't wait to be on track!"
Aprilia wants to offer the best to Martin
The event having been cancelled last year due to political decisions, the Italian remains the last winner to date at Termas de Rio Hondo.
For his part, Lorenzo Savadori will discover the circuit for the first time and shares his impatience: “Termas is a new track for me where I have never ridden. We are working in the right direction and the goal for the weekend is to continue developing the RS-GP25 to give Jorge [Martin] the best possible bike when he returns.”
With a solid base established in Thailand and clear ambitions for Argentina, Aprilia aims to maximize the potential of its RS-GP25. The Noale factory will, however, have to contend with the Ducati team. After completely dominating the opening round of the 2025 MotoGP season, the Borgo Panigale factory team is chasing a first victory in Argentina.
