The Shakedown MotoGP 2025 ended at the very beginning of the month. It is fabio quartararo who came out with the best time, at the end of the three days of testing on the Sepang circuit. As a reminder, these days of driving were reserved only for test riders, rookies, and holders of the Rank D factories. Current status of Yamaha and Honda.
All the drivers on the grid returned to the track last week. On Wednesday 05th February, Marc Marquez, Pecco Bagnaia, Jorge Martin and the others performed on the Sepang circuit in Malaysia. They took part in three days of testing.
An important meeting for all those who still had to familiarize themselves with their new machine. Or even for some, their new team.
After these three days in Malaysia, the MotoGP paddock now heads to Thailand. Two additional days of testing will be held there alongside the season kick-off at the same venue. These will take place at less early hours for European spectators.
The absences of Fabio Di Giannantonio and world champion Jorge Martin after their injuries in Sepang are already confirmed.
