Marc Márquez is already a world champion. The Catalan's seventh title in the premier class was confirmed thanks to his second-place finish at Motegi, at the Japanese Grand Prix, behind his teammate Francesco Bagnaia. This doesn't mean, however, that the end of the season is without interest, as several issues remain to be resolved.

Francesco Bagnaia has lost third place. After finishing the Portuguese Grand Prix Sprint in 8th place and crashing out of the race, he has lost further ground to Marco Bezzecchi. The Aprilia rider, Sunday's winner, has increased his lead to 35 points. The Ducati rider now has to watch out for Pedro Acosta's comeback. With his podium finish, the Spaniard has reduced the gap to 3 points for fourth place in the standings. With a 102-point lead, Álex Márquez is assured of second place in the championship.

French side, fabio quartararo still at the bottom of the top 10 in the overall standings MotoGP, 9th with 198 points. Johann Zarco, for his part, is excluded after Raúl Fernández's victory in Australia. He is currently 12th, with 144 points.
