- At the end of the Qualifying, it was Francesco Bagnaia who took pole position for the Thailand Grand Prix in MotoGP, ahead of his teammate Enea Bastianini. An advantage that he was unable to maintain when the lights went out, since the number 23 took the holeshot.
- Jorge Martin actually went into the first corner in the lead, before running too wide and dropping to fifth behind Pedro Acosta. Marc Marquez also made a great start from fifth place, and claimed second place after the first few corners. However, he was overtaken by Bagnaia shortly after the first lap.
- Pedro Acosta's race took a completely different turn at turn 3 shortly before the halfway point, as the No. 37 fell. A bad habit he has been adopting all too frequently since the start of the Asian tour.
- The incident, however, allowed Martin to catch up with Marquez and Bagnaia, while Bastianini flew away, and already had a one-second lead over his garage neighbour. Although he managed to easily get rid of Marquez, he would stumble behind Bagnaia until the eighth lap of the race. Once in front of the number 1, Martin was 1,6 seconds behind the leader.

Bastianini alone in the world
- While Enea Bastianini was able to maintain his lead until the finish, Bagnaia woke up in the position of the chaser, and put pressure on Jorge Martin who made a few gaps from time to time, without Bagnaia managing to overtake him.
- The number 23 starts the last lap in the lead, with an advantage of more than a second. Martin, for his part, has a lead of a handful of tenths over his rival, and manages to maintain it. The top-3 therefore reach the finish in this order.
- Marc Marquez finished the race in fourth place, three seconds behind Bagnaia. Behind them, four other Ducatis. Borgo Panigale has in fact blocked the first eight positions of this Sprint, leaving only the point of ninth place to its rivals.
Nobody could get near him! 👏

- Brad Binder took the lead after crossing the checkered flag fabio quartararo, author of a catastrophic departure.
- Johann Zarco finished twelfth, thus maintaining the ranking with which he started the event. Honda had announced that the weekend's races would be more difficult to manage than Qualifying for their riders, due to their difficulty in finding grip under acceleration.
